Dr. Keltgen grew up in Olivia, MN. She completed the prerequisites for optometry school at University of Minnesota-Morris. From there, she attended Indiana University School of Optometry, where she was involved in the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, participated and presented research to advance glaucoma detection and management, graduated with honors and was awarded her Doctorate of Optometry.
Dr. Keltgen has enjoyed providing comprehensive eye care in the Twin Cities metro area since the summer of 2011. Her special interests include primary care, ocular disease, pediatric care and the relationship between ocular and systemic health.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, her husband Mitch, and pet cats, Wittaker and Blue. She also enjoys exercising, dining out, reading and has a special interest in fitness & nutrition.
Rachel, Office Manager
Rachel has been in the optical field since 2012, and has worked alongside Dr. Keltgen since 2015. With her education in business management and background in retail fashion, she keeps the office running smoothly and can help you find the perfect pair of glasses.
When she's not at work, Rachel enjoys fitness, cooking & baking, but most importantly, spending time with her husband and dog, Queso! Born and raised in the Twin Cities, she loves to travel. She's been coast to coast, and her list of new places to explore is endless.
Mitch, Business Manager
Mitch has an extensive background in retail, industrial sales and marketing. He handles the business and marketing aspect of the practice, as well as the office's Handy man.
Mitch graduated from Ridgewater College with an Agri-Business Management degree and Indiana University Bloomington with an Associates in Business Marketing Management from the Kelley School of Business.
Mitch and Dr. Keltgen are high school sweethearts. They met at a football game in Olivia, MN and have been an inseparable duo ever since. He enjoys driving his Seek Eye Care sponsored racecar, traveling, working on their hobby farm, sport shooting, and working on his 1931 Model A Ford he inherited from his Grandpa Sid.
German, Optometric Technician/Optician
German is passionate about all sports (go San Francisco 49ers!) especially softball & soccer. In the fall of 2022 he helped start up the ECP soccer team at Sibley East High School to ensure his younger siblings have access to a competitive high school soccer team.
German enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing competitive and leisure soccer, and all outdoor activities. He even keeps a spare fishing rod in his trunk for unexpected free time.
Bilingual in Spanish & English, he’s looking forward to helping provide thorough eye care to our non English speaking patients and making sure they feel welcome in a potentially intimidating medical environment.
¡Si hablamos español! Habla Español y Inglés, está emocionado pueder ayudar a la comunidad que habla español. Asegurando que se sienten bienvenidos en el ambiente médico que potencialmente está intimidante.
Kayla, Optometric Technician
Kayla has been working as an Optometric Technician since 2021. She loves meeting new people everyday and being able to connect with our patients.
Born and raised in Carver, Kayla loves going to the lake, spending time with family and friends, eating pickles, and drawing.
Sam, Optometric Technician/Optician
Sam is new to the Optometry world, but previously worked as a pediatric medical assistant. His medical experience, professionalism, and friendliness make him a great fit with the rest of our team.
His hobbies include playing music, cooking, and traveling the world with his lovely wife. He's also a coffee connoisseur so you may bump into him at a local coffee shop around the Victoria & Waconia area!
Torte, Office Dog/Company Morale Manager
Torte is a rescue all the way from Alabama that Doctor Keltgen and Mitch adopted in February of 2020. They found her through an organization called Warrior Dog Rescue.
Torte is in training to become E.S.A. certified in order help our patients enjoy their experience here at Seek Eye Care a little better.
One unique thing you will notice when you meet her is she has one blue eye and one brown eye. This is called Heterochromia, which is a genetic mutation that is purely cosmetic. She has great vision, Dr. Keltgen checked!
Torte's favorite hobbies are coming to Seek everyday to work (first order of business is to go say "HI" to the team), playing fetch, chasing squirrels, and of course getting all the belly rubs.
Jackie, Former Optician
On November 7, 2019 we lost our dear friend and coworker, Jackie Hintze, to her battle with cancer.
Jackie was the sweetest soul, and anyone who had the fortune of meeting her knew just how special she was. It was truly a pleasure to have worked with her, and she is missed by all.
